Three Days Grace Phoenix Concert reviews
Three Days Grace and Pop Evil - Awesome show
The event started right on time. Pop Evil was an excellent opening act. I only knew a few of their songs before they began, but their energy and sound was fantastic. At the end of their set, I bought their cd and have been listening to it in my car ever since. I would definitely see them again. Their sound was reminiscent of the 80's rock bands I love combined with current themed songs making them relevant.
Three Days Grace also began right on time. They sounded even better than when we saw them in Lowell last month. I like the State Theatre as a venue because it's more intimate. Our seats were much better, and the sound was better. I bought an autographed cd at the beginning of the show. The set was great. They played all the songs you would expect them to play along with a few newer songs. They also played a Limp Bizkit song. That was a cool addition to their set. It got everyone up and moving. This is definitely the first time I've seen a mosh pit at the State Theatre. It was a great show - well worth the $30 ticket price.
